In the first quarter of 2020, we are choosing YES to a well-rested you so that you can face the New Year with brilliance!
In this 2.5-hour workshop, you will experience the Daring to Rest yoga nidra meditation, and learn a couple of conscious breathing practices. Yoga nidra is a sleep-based relaxation technique. Each time we lie down (or sit, if you prefer), we will go through guided breath work, body sensing, and visualisations that are known to help people rest better.
The breath work is meant to bring your body and mind to balance. There are no fanciful yoga poses to do. Each time we lie down, we will invite you to come home to yourself with a deep sense of self care and appreciation.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Experience two guided Yoga Nidra sessions
Practice two Pranayamas (conscious breathing techniques)
Workshop is restful and non-physical/non-strenuous.
Suitable for everyone. No prior yoga experience or knowledge is required.
