Daring to Rest: Love Thyself

The biggest and most important self-care you can give yourself is – rest. You’ve had enough of do-ing, cope-ing, and busy-ing. Simply lie back and just be. Daring to Rest yoga nidra meditation will gently guide you to rest deeply – physically, mentally and emotionally. Rise up and lead from a well-rested place. Permission to rest is granted. This workshop is open to everyone who is tired or want to take back rest for themselves.

In this workshop, expect to be fully facilitated into a deep rest-full state, and wake up with a sense of calmness to carry into your everyday life. Daring to Rest yoga nidra meditation is a sleep-based relaxation technique. Through guided breath work, body rotations, and visualisations, it is known to help people rest and sleep better. There are no fanciful yoga poses that we will be doing. In fact, expect a session of non-doing, except lying down (or sitting, if you prefer). The theme for this class is ‘Love Thyself’. This is a time for you to love yourself unconditionally, be good to yourself, to treat yourself to true deep rest. From this well-rested body, you will rise better. Let’s lie down and thrive.

This workshop is organised as part of Festival of Love http://www.festoflove.com.
